In May 2014, the RBCM Invertebrate team boarded a Canadian Coast Guard research vessel set to sail along the North Coast of British Columbia. For two weeks, Dr. Melissa Frey, Curator of Invertebrates and Heidi Gartner, Collection Manager of Invertebrates along with their colleagues from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, combed the remote seascapes of northern BC in search of living treasures. Join us as they document their discoveries of the diverse and the exotic, and discuss the importance of stewardship for these northern shores. This field work was generously funded by Teck, Lead Partner in Biodiversity.
