Yes we can: yes we will! Not to be missed, this versatile and talented ensemble, The Island Consort Chamber Choir - directed by Bruce Farquharson, is pleased to present a very special spring program that combines heartfelt songs of Love and Spring, and fine soloists with a fitting selection of short poems by those such as Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare, Robert Burns and Henry Longfellow. The music transcends many genres, from plainchant and Baroque to Scottish folk to vocal jazz (with rhythm section), ending with a wonderful arrangement of Amazing Grace.
