Maria Muldaur brings her own brand of New Orleans-flavored Blues, R&B and Swamp Funk to the Duncan Showroom on September 23.

Mistress of all tunes soulful and sassy, Maria Muldaur returns to our stage with New Orleans blues, gospel, and swamp funk tunes from her new high-energy CD, Steady Love, backed with grit and reckless abandon by her red hot Bluesiana Band, featuring Craig Caffall on guitar, Chris Burns on keyboards/bass, and Dave Tucker on drums.

Unparalleled interpreter of americana music since long before that genre even had a name, Maria has spent over four decades unleashing her sultry, honey-vinegar vocals on a dizzying range of songs. From her early days in the Jim Kweskin Jug Band through her deep explorations of New Orleans jazz, Western swing, gospel, country blues, and more, Maria has brought back into the spotlight some of America’s finest roots music around.

The recipient of three Grammy nominations and numerous other awards, Maria has released an array of acclaimed albums. As great as her CDs are, however, Maria's live performances are brimming with hard-charging energy and positive vibes.
