A dancy, sparkly fun filled day dedicated to to raising funds for the Nanaimo Disability Resource Centre.
Hosted and organized by local Vancouver Island belly dancers! There will be performances and dance demonstrations of various types & styles...even Ballet, vendors of all things SHINY & other treasures, 4 FREE mini-workshops including Fusion Styles, Traditional Dabke Style, ATS (American Tribal Style) and even HULA-HOOPING!
People of every age & ability dance...what motivates YOU to kick up your heels? We want to spread the word about the therapeutic & empowering qualities of ALL TYPES of DANCE.
Have YOU ever thought about taking a dance lesson, had a question about various dance styles or wanted to check out the costuming or buy some funky clothes???
