Meridiem Wind Orchestra presents: Mystery of the Giants This concert features some "giant" works for wind orchestra, both in scope and reputation. These works include "Pines of Rome" (Respighi), "Equus" (Whitacre), and "Le Mezquita de Cordoba" (Giroux), among others.
Members of the ensemble include some of Victoria's finest musicians and music educators, who enjoy performing a broad variety of music for wind orchestra and providing an opportunity for young music students in Victoria to hear this music live.
Admission is by donation; proceeds will be used to support a music program that provides students access to instruments and music education at George Jay Elementary school.
