Artist Talk - Meet Al Bersch and Leslie Grant Friday, November 20, 6:15pm, Art Lab

This summer, American artists Al Bersch and Leslie Grant traveled to Nanaimo to conduct research as Artists in Residence at the Wildwood Ecoforest in Cedar. During this time they worked in dialogue with the Ecoforestry Institute and the Nanaimo Archives while creating a new photography based artwork that responds to specific forestry practices in the Nanaimo region. Their new work will debut as part of Booming Grounds. Bersch and Grant will give a special talk about their art practice before the exhibition opening on November 20. All are welcome!
