Wetland restoration: Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society
Wetlands are not only havens of biodiversity and productivity, but they also protect against floods, cycle nutrients and remove contaminants from the water. Carlo Acuña will help us learn how the Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society is working to restore a degraded wetland on their Manley Farm property in Cobble Hill and how you can become involved in this important ecological endeavour.
