New Whitehall Open Water Rowing Club Opening

Open water rowing has come to Victoria. BC's most dynamic marine entrepreneurs have done it again. Whitehall Rowing and Sail's Marie Hutchinson and Harold Aune have taken the recession by the oars and started the Whitehall Spirit Rowing Club.
The grand opening member information afternoon is Saturday March 6 from 1 to 4 pm at the Canoe Brewpub Marina at the foot of Swift Street. Olympic rower Adam Kreek, trans-Atlantic record holder Brad Vickers, National Geographic's adventurers of the year Colin and Julie Angus and more will be doing demos, talking about the health benefits of rowing and showing off the new revolutionary double slide-seat Tango fresh out of Whitehall's boat building shop.
Slide-seat rowing in a stable craft means no joint strain. perfect for cross-training. And no morrage fees or maintenance costs. Plus it's as green as it gets.
