OCTOBER’S EXHIBITS AT THE MCMILLAN ARTS CENTRE. Photographer Randy Hall - Vancouver Island – Through the Lens Randy Hall is a Vancouver Island photographer specializing in nature photography, whether it is capturing natural settings such as seascapes or forest landscapes or the plants and animals that inhabit this part of British Columbia.

Randy considers himself a landscape photographer first, but also an opportunistic wildlife photographer. “My photos are my interpretation of works by a true master… Mother Nature”. Randy has developed a style that shows enhanced colours and contrast.

The Wednesday Painters will be having their annual group show. The Wednesday Painters are a group that has been painting together for many years from September to June. They paint in various media in Studio B at the MAC and always welcome new members. The Arrowsmith Artist’s Group was formulated in 1998. For many years their exhibits were held primarily in Wembly Mall then more recently, at the McMillan Arts Centre.

The membership consists of artists and photographers. This year, they have 8 members participating. Some have been with the group for 15 years. . The exhibiting artists include: Penny Marshall, Margorie Dunlop, Helen Binns, Luke Downs, Olivia Mennie, Margery Blom, and Nic Bosma.
