The gals and vendors from the Midisland Public Market are pleased to bring you a wonderful, new Christmas Market! Join some of your favorite vendors from the Midisland Market, as well as some brand new vendors to celebrate the first day of winter, the solstice, Christmas, and the wonderful holiday season. Shop with local artisans and small businesses. Visit with friends and family, and enjoy some great holiday food. The vendors keep coming in, but so far we have a great line up!

Frances and her company "Oh She Grows" will be at market with her wonderful organic bath products. Great for dry winter skin. Mystical Fairy Gardens will be there, and Cyndy is bringing some magical fairy houses and creatures, as well as dream catchers and hangings. I love Cyndy's selection of whimsical wares. Larry Aguilar and Dee will be bringing their gorgeous pottery, with something great for everyone on your list, and Laurie Noel has whimsical and decorative soaps that you just can't find elsewhere. Ruta manages R and R designs and is an amazing innovator in beautiful, stylish jewlery.

If you haven't tried Bestemor's Soaps, made by Tammie Myhres, now is your chance. Tammie uses crystal infusions in her soaps, and they are wonderful. Van Island Ventura is a new vendor for Midisland Public Market, but Shawna makes great beach glass jewelry and we hope she will join us at market this summer. We have Chris with attractive and unique Silver Bay Jewlery for your stockings, and Cara Barter from Spirit Song Fibre Studio with richly coloured yarns, and knitted items. Jaylene Harper will be bringing her wonderful, colourful, and fun art, and Sylvan Clay Aeron will be bringing some great unusual clay ornaments and candle holders.

Jen Nguyen has done some uniquely gorgeous jar candles for her company Luminessence Candles, to help light up those long dark, winter nights with sparkling light. Peggy Legault will be bringing her Bug out can stoppers, a perfect solution to prevent spilled drinks at holiday parties, and a perfect stocking stuffer. Play a game of Crib on an artful board by Liam Johnson from Gulf Island Cribbage, and come find out about Gardening Classes, and get a discount coupon from Connie Kuramoto at Gardens on the Go. Diamond Decals also has great, and unusual stocking stuffers, and Elizabeth Lumley will be there to showcase them. I really like her decals of Vancouver Island. Island Chic has great jewelry, and Lia Girard will be bringing boxes of delicious sweets with her company Sweet Delights.

Our own Mirella will be bringing delicious Biscotti and More. Whitey Sommers will bring his great soothing Therapeutic Balm, wonderful for those winter aches and pains. Wendy Maurer will be selling her Beads of Joy, gorgeous glass beads of brilliant colors, and Sarah Welkum from Little Mountain Macrame will be bringing her wonderful macrame designs. Keenan Bevan will be selling his book " Mysteria" a book for young ones that will help him pay for his college expenses.

Waistcoats Wood Creations have wondeful, attractive, well priced wood carvings, and our favorite metal worker, Dave Caspric from Red Cod Forge will be there with his great metal sculptures. Fill those stockings with Johanna Gross's crochet, sewn, and hand crafted wallets, washclothes, and pouches, delight in Jo Jo Emporium's eclectic mix of hand crafted clothing and accessories, and come out and have a good time!
