Nine Vancouver Island ceramic artists invite you to attend their exhibition of original ceramic art and pottery.

This spring the show will include three guest artists. The work of Debbie Elkins and Tony Mochizuki will be familiar to regular visitors to Pacific Rim Potters, as they have exhibited with the group in the past. Laurie Hashizumi, who will be showing with the group for the first time will bring her own unique designs to the mix.

These three will join group regulars Cindy Gibson, Darrel Hancock, Nora Lewin, Peggy Elmes, Linda Vigliotti and Ester Galac to put together a classy and eclectic show of functional and sculptural pottery sure to suit every taste and budget.

Each of the potters has developed an individual style, and perfected their own designs for a wide array of pieces, ranging from eggcups to sculpture. Colourful garden art rubs shoulders with unique pottery for the kitchen, elegant Ikebana vases, dramatic display pieces and the humble coffee mug.

The sale is always held on the Saturday before Mothers' Day, making it a great place to find that perfect gift for Mum, something special for yourself, your garden or your backyard birds. It's also a great place to find inspiration for your next pottery class!

The Pacific Rim Potters was formed 32 years ago with an initial ‘spring show and sale’ designed to exhibit the work of professional local artists; a fall show was added several years later. Despite the longevity of the show there is always something new to see.

The events are free, in a wheelchair accessible venue, with complimentary refreshments, free parking and door prizes by raffle. Shoppers, browsers, curious or serious, friends old and new are all welcome.
