People for a Healthy Community is a federally registered charity and Gabriola’s only social service not-for-profit community organization. We support isolated and marginalized residents by operating the weekly food bank, weekly soup socials, the school lunch program Food for Thought, and provide seniors and individuals in need with housing referrals and supportive programs. Over 200 individuals and families are helped by PHC every month.
