Canada’s largest street hockey festival comes to Nanaimo September 17-18, 2022 and is open to males and females of all ages and experience levels. No skating ability is necessary - just grab your sneakers and a stick and you’re ready to play for just $49 for the weekend. Play On! Nanaimo is a family-oriented event that will take place on front street amid the backdrop of beautiful Nanaimo harbour. The festival will feature interactive games, food, sponsor activations and special events, including a celebrity street hockey game.

You can sign up as an individual or get people together and register a team. Whether you’re a returning street hockey champion or a curious novice who wants to try street hockey for the first time, there is a division for everyone. Aside from playing, people can become involved as a referee or an event volunteer.
