10:30 a.m 15K Race Early Start (walkers/runners anticipating finishing over 1.5hr), 11:00 a.m. PDT - 15K Race Start

The fifth race of the Island Series, the Port Alberni Paper Chase 15K is hosted by the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce. The course is a pretty rural route starting from the Cherry Creek Community Centre and running through the trails through the McLean Mill Historic Site. Regular series runners will want to challenge themselves on this route.
