From page to stage to piano, two new works � inspired by the visual arts and music
� display the unbridled imagination of master choreographer Marie Chouinard. The visually arresting HENRI MICHAUX : MOUVEMENTS features ten dancers forming stunning silhouettes and sequences to mirror projections of drawings by Belgian surrealist Michaux. Chouinard then enters the heart of French master of modernism �rik Satie in GYMNOP�DIES. While taking turns playing the piano, ten dancers perform loving, sensual, erotic duets to the composer�s haunting work.
This performance contains strobe effects and some nudity.
