Cogito ergo sum. I think, therefore I am, as Descartes penned. We all think, but not in the same way. Wikipedia lists about 170 different thought processes. There are slide shows on the internet describing 10 different styles of thinking. Critical thinking is what everyone claims to be the process that gets us the answers we need. What do you think or, more importantly, how do you think?
The Comox Valley Humanists invite you to a discussion with Ray Grigg titled Shades of Thinking. It will be held at the Little Red Church (2182 Comox Avenue, Comox) on Saturday, May 17th at 2 pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $10, (cash only) or $8 if you want to order them in advance. To order, please contact Bill at [email protected]. There is plenty of parking behind the building.
