The Courtenay Library hosts two local authors celebrating new publications, Judy LeBlanc and Cornelia Hoogland.
Judy LeBlanc‘s THE PROMISE OF WATER (Oolican Books, 2017) explores the stories of daily life embedded in our coastal environments: a coal mining village, an indigenous burial ground, in a kayak in coastal waters.
Hoogland presents her long form poem TRAILER PARK ELEGY (Harbour, 2017) that deals in dark themes (chaos theory, dark matter, the effect of noise pollution on whales) running through its intriguing narrative.
