ASPENGROVE EARLY LEARNING CENTRE: Helps Preschoolers get Ready for School - READY, SET, LEARN

Aspengrove Early Learning Centre hosts Ready, Set, Learn for families and their preschoolers. Ready, Set, Learn is an early learning initiative sponsored by the Ministry of Education. Ready, Set, Learn is intended to facilitate partnerships between school and local community agencies and early childhood service providers.

Families and their Preschoolers will take part in play-based inquiry activities while finding out about early learning programs and services.

Activities: Numeracy, Science, Literacy, Social & Emotional, Gross & Fine Motor, Creative Expression, Language (French), Health & Nutrition.

Community Partners: Pacific Sport-Catharine Edwards, BA-BPHE, Holly Tree Dental-Kimiko Kika Pediatric Dentist, YourEyesOnly-Dr. David Thompson Optometrist, Kool & Child-Door Prizes, Moyasser Elsayed-Freelance Martial Arts Master.

Guest Speaker, Dr. Shannon Barnsley Registered Child Psychologist will speak on the topic ”Preschool Anxiety: How to prepare your child for entry to Kindergarten.” This event is free! Children will receive a take home activity bag, healthy snacks, free books and door prizes.
