1:05 PM to 3:07 PM

The tragedy of abandoned cats is increasing year after year and municipalities are just washing their hands from the problem and ignoring it. East Sooke to Port Renfrew has become the targeted area from those individuals who cannot afford the outrageously expensive veterinary bills. Cats have become the first victims of this tragedy because it is in our beaches and trails where the animals are dumped as if they are trash. The poor defenceless pets which used to be loved and to sleep in comfortable beds are now starving and dying alone in our most remote areas.

Please, join us in this first animal rights' protest and rally. We are asking the district of Sooke to lend/lease us a piece of land where to build an animal shelter. The closer shelter from Sooke is a 40 km away and they do not work with feral cats.

A feral cat is the one who has become traumatized and scared due to the abandonment and it is also the one which was born under those conditions.

Please, join us! The animals need you!

Help us make posters! Donate what you can, please! We need your support!!!
