Sostenuto meaning sustained is not only a way of playing music to this duos memebers (Anna Lumiere piano/accordion) and serena Eades-violin), but it is a way of living within the world. While both musicians can be found touring and recording across the continent with such groups as Mimosa (www.mimosamusic.com), Anagram (www.anagramjazz.ca) and The Rakish Angles (www.rakishangles.ca) this lovely duo will be hitting the road this summer by bicycle. While the music is at times sultry and rich they are never far from infecting a good dose of silliness and lightness into a given show. From tango to choro, French musette to folk melodies, Sostenuto is a worthwhile treat for the senses.
