TheatreOne’s Just Kidding for Kids presents the final play in its series for children and families, the classic Robinson Crusoe, with a modern twist - Friday is a girl!
This adaptation of Daniel Defoe’s 1719 novel by Axis Theatre Company will entertain audiences of all ages! Young patrons will be thrilled with this participatory performance about an English sailor who is shipwrecked on a remote island. Crusoe works against all odds to survive alone for 25 years, until the day he rescues a stranger.
This imaginative retelling emphasizes communication, cultural differences and empathy. Axis Theatre is a smart and inspirational company focused on engaging young and young-at-heart audiences. In the age of “looking down,” Axis draws eyes up to engage young people in interactive experiences that educate and transform.
