The UVic Orchestra performs Round, a new composition by UVic School of Music alumna Cassandra Miller (BMus '05) commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada.
Also on the program is Isolation by Shabahang Safari, winner of the 2017 UVic Composers' Competition, Philippe Leroux's Envers IV, as well as works selected from a national call for short scores.
This concert is part of the UVic School of Music’s 50th Anniversary New Music & Digital Media Festival.
