Dear Raiders Supporter;

Wow! What a year for our VI Raiders Junior football team and the city of Nanaimo. Two years in a row Canadian National Champions. THAT is quite an accomplishment.

These are important years for our young men on this team. It's important that we accept them with open arms in our community. University education is a vital element in the development of these champion players.

It is that wonderful time of the year where we are looking forward to junior football, the up coming season and our annual scholarship dinner in support of our VI Raiders' educational aspirations.

Many football players attend VI University and are in need of some financial support to keep them enrolled in their various courses and programs. The net proceeds from our upcoming dinner, to be held at the Coast Bastion on Saturday, March 6, will help motivated students and future football players to stay in school and Nanaimo.

BC Lion celebrities have been invited and will be attending the scholarship dinner--also a surprise guest speaker with Live Auction, Silent Auction and entertainment.

We hope we can count on you to purchase a table of ten for $1000 and if you are unable to manage that request then please purchase whatever number tickets you can use or an auction item for our silent auction table. The price is $125.00 per ticket and I will be in touch with you to confirm your tables/tickets.
