An acoustic guitar, a djembe drum, an acoustic bass, tight vocal harmonies and energetic optimism combine to become the acoustic roots trio, Paradise Street. Peet Vuur, Carolyn Wadel, and Wayne Dupuis make up this sassy, fun, dynamic group, brought together to share their love of music and performance. They entertain audiences with a joyful synergy made from a sweet mix of memories, originals, and a few covers you may never have heard before. Hard to label but easy to enjoy, get ready to tap your feet, dance in your chair, and share a few laughs as they promise an evening of fun, laughter, and groovin’ in your seats with Paradise Street!

Our feature act will be preceded by what is arguably Victoria’s best weekly acoustic Open Stage session where musicians from fledglings to professionals can perform a 10 minute set for one of the most welcoming, attentive and participative audiences in town. Aspiring Open Stage performers can sign-up with the VFMS Host between 7:00 and 7:30pm to do a set but should get there early to improve their chances of getting on the evening’s line-up.
