"Wandering With a Wolf" is set on a secure, 7-acre location just west of Courtenay. Tundra, from the SWELL Wolf Education Centre, is the star attraction.

This photography workshop and tour offers us the rare opportunity to capture Tundra's essence in a natural setting - untethered - allowing us some incredible insight into how wolves conduct themselves in the wild.

There will also be discussions about wolf conservation and behavior as well as the plight of wild wolves from Gary Allan, Tundra's handler and director of SWELL.

Besides wandering the woods with Tundra, this exclusive event includes instruction and practical tips on wildlife and nature photography from Mark Corbett. Set in an orchard, there will be lots of opportunity for shots of wild flora as well.

We cap off this incredible afternoon with locally-sourced, gourmet hors d'œuvres paired with local wine and craft beer.

Space for this event is limited. Cost: $100 (tax included). Payment at this time can be made by e-transfers, cheque or cash. Partial proceeds go to SWELL Wolf Education Centre on Vancouver Island.
