My landscape paintings are rooted in a deep emotional response to the natural world, particularly the coastal and forested environments of Vancouver Island. Working primarily in acrylic, I explore not just what is seen, but what is felt—the quiet presence, movement, and spirit within the land.

I am especially drawn to moments of stillness and transition: shifting skies, receding shorelines, the hush of trees. In these spaces, I sense a kind of energy or essence that I aim to translate onto the canvas. My paintings are an invitation to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with a quieter, more contemplative way of seeing.
