Crissa will be joined by Daniel Gerrard, an international style guitarist from the UK, and Jay Somerville and his Eccentric Poets Band. Crissa is raising awareness and funds for the BC Cancer Foundation in support of immunotherapy research happening at the Deeley Research Center in Victoria.
A team of scientists and doctors will be using T cells to stimulate the body's own immune system to fight cancer. Clinical trials are expected to begin by 2017, and they're hoping to minimize or eliminate the need for toxic treatments such as chemo and radiation in patients whose cancer recurs.

Admission is by donation, Crissa's CDs will also be available by donation, with all proceeds going to the Deeley Research Center.
