Wild Arc Benefit Concert: Electro Acoustic Brazilian Jungle Music

Brazilian singer Joseh Garcia is back in Victoria with his new concert Bicho do Mato (Animal of the Jungle). Singer/songwriter Garcia took inspiration from his solitude and healing moments with Nature to create this wonderful event to benefit Wild ARC. In Bicho do Mato, Joseh takes us on a journey in which electronic and acoustic sounds meet popular Brazilian music and afro-indigenous spiritual songs from Brazil. Introspection, wildlife, and magical deities of the Amazon are the themes of the show. Joseh sings, plays acoustic guitar, and creates electronic sounds in this benefit concert. Donations are encouraged (suggestion $20) to benefit Wild ARC (Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre). Wild ARC provides humane care to injured, orphaned, sick, and distressed wildlife in BC and is operated by BC SPCA. The show happens on Friday July 13th starting at 7 pm at Serious Coffee (Cook St. Village).
