Interested in learning what kinds of plants our beautiful region has to offer?
Do you want to learn how to safely and sustainably forage for wild plants?
Come along for an afternoon walk in the beautiful Wildwood Demonstration Forest with experienced forager and plant expert Richard Kuehnel to receive an introduction to the edible, medicinal, practical, and toxic plants of our region.
This workshop is intended to empower you with knowledge to confidently go out on your own to gather and utilize some of the useful plants that our environment has to offer, as well as to add more depth to your relationship with the land.
No experience is needed, and all ages are welcome. It is optional but recommended to bring a water bottle, note paper and pen, and a camera to take photos of what we find.
