Winter Solstice Concert- Weaving the Light

The Winter Solstice Concert will return for another year featuring Cari Burdett and Sara Marreiros (event coordinators) Marisa Jackson, Adrian Dolan, and Adam Dobres, as well as new additions, violinist Quin Etheridge-Pedden, and singer Nick Mintenko.
The multi-genre concert will fuse a 12th Century secular canon, a popular French Canadian fiddle tune, winter themed folk songs, and pop classics by Sting, Gordon Lightfoot, Rose Cousins and more. Each musician will also feature original compositions.

Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Witness Project. Created to build understanding of the severity and reality of the genocide in Canada, it physically weaves together many residential school stories to help represent the pain of the past and hope for the future. http://witnessblanket.ca/#!/project/
