Women of Cumberland - Guided Walking Tour
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Life in a coal town like Cumberland was not easy for the women who settled here. Dangerous mining conditions meant that many were left widowed or without "breadwinners" to care for the family. The best way to survive was to take control. Join community guide, Marianne Bell on this guided walking tour in celebration of Women’s History Month. Hear stories of the "ordinary" women who lived extraordinary lives making Cumberland their home.
