SUMMER 1993. Set amidst the sun-drenched Catalan countryside, writer-director Carla Simón’s debut film sensitively tells the story of a young girl newly orphaned. Carried by the stunning performances of its two young actors, this semi-autobiographical film quietly portrays the grief and catharsis that punctuate the lives of the family.
Winner of 32 awards including Best First Feature at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival.
