PITCH YOUR PASSION!

What�s that you ask? It�s a panel of women with passion who want to help another passionate member of our community fulfill their dream or passion!

How it works . . .

*A minimum of 10 women sign up to be a JUDGE on the the Passion Panel � the cost is $50 CASH (minimum � you can contribute more if you like)
*5 women (PITCHERS) sign up to pitch their idea, project or dream that they feel passionate � you have 5 minutes to win us over with your presentation
*25 more women are in the audience, and can ask questions, along with the Passion Panel members
*The Passion Panel casts their vote for the �Pitcher� they feel most passionate about
*The winning �Pitcher� takes home a minimum of $500 to pursue their passion
*Six months later, the winning �Pitcher� comes back to share their progress

COOL, RIGHT?

The first Pitch Your Passion is August 22nd (in honour of my dear friend Lynn Webb-Thomas� birthday � she lived a passionate life and she would have LOVED this idea). Then we have two more scheduled � October 22 and January 22, 2014. These panels run from 7 to 9 pm at the 24 Carrot Centre � 714 Discovery Street.

All �Pitchers� will go home with a goodie bag of resources and ideas, provided by the audience members and judges � everyone is a winner!

Passion Pitchers � there�s a few more things for you to consider . . .

*you can �pitch� any idea, project or dream that you feel passionate about � there are no limits
*question � is this before you do your pitch at the event? pitch your passion in 500 words or less, accompany it with a picture of you (that you give us permission to use on our website), your email address, website (if applicable) and phone # � fill out our PITCH YOUR PASSION FORM � do this soon to secure a spot!
*again, we�ll take the first five Pitchers and after that we�ll put you on the waiting list/list for subsequent events � we�ll let you know!
*If you�re under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian needs to come with you
*We have the right to filter/reject/question �pitches� � of course they must be ethical and legal

The Passionate Audience � after we seat the Passion Pitchers and Passion Panel we have more seats for you to participate as an audience member.
