YPN Open House

If you have ever considered joining the Young Professionals of Nanaimo (YPN), mark your calendars to attend our upcoming Open House Event.

This evening is a great opportunity for interested community members to come out and interact with YPN members to learn a bit more about the organization, and what they do. During the event, the organizations past presidents will be on-hand to speak about their favorite projects, and will also discuss how being a YPN member has positively impacted their work and standing in the community-at-large.

The not-for-profit organization is currently entering their sixth year, and has been involved in planning a number of community initiatives, including the rejuvenation of the train station, beautification of the A&B Sound building, the clean up of Cappy Yates Park and the establishment of two sets of community gardens. Current members looking to renew their membership can do so at the event, and one lucky member will win a free YPN membership.

The YPN encourages attendees to bring a canned good item to the open house, as they will be donating the collection to the upcoming CANstruction event.
