Island Stitchery Guild Nanaimo Monthly Meeting

In our 2009/2010 season, The Island Stitchery Guild is excited to announce that the stitching project for our monthly meetings will be a sampler to be stitched on an even weave fabric, using colours and fibres of your choosing. ISG is starting a sampler from Stitch with the Embroiders� Guild Magazine (from UK) June/July 2009 issue no 59.
Our December meeting is a social potluck and voluntary stitched ornament exchange. Visitors and new members are welcome. Cotact Judy at 250 756 3114 for more information.
Update: This project was well received and several members have used the format to design their own sampler. The colour selections and stitch choices were unique for each member.
